"Today was a good day. I had mommy all to myself. We played and just spent time together. I am still sleeping and eating well. My dad thinks I'm growing. I've gotten a lot of comments about my long arms, legs, and toes. I don't know who I got them from."

My Aunt Michelle Bluhm Taylor left today. I sure will miss her, but both my aunts are coming to see me next weekend, so I don't have to wait long."
"Today I spent time with my Aunt Michelle. We played and then I slept. I made another video for Daddy. Everyone keeps saying I am really strong for my age. I can hold my head up a little bit and I like to try to push up with my hands. Of course, it is all unsteady, but I am trying. After Aunt Michelle leaves tomorrow, it'll be just me and my mom for the first time. I'm sure she'll do great, but I know she is nervous and will miss our family."
"I sleep in really crazy positions. My Aunt Michelle came to visit me and I am glad she is here. We are doing really well. I was a little fussy this evening and my dad didn't know what to do. Mom told him I might cry sometimes, but he doesn't like it. I will try not to cry that much."

"Today was a good day. I just hung out with my mom and dad. I sure do love it when my daddy is home with us. I am starting to have more awake time. My parents always comment how strong I am because I am already holding up my head and turning it from side to side. I just want to be comfortable, so I have to be able to move it. I am crying less during diaper changes and clothing changes. Don't say anything, but it's probably because my mom and dad are getting the hang of it and are more efficient and much faster now that they've practiced."
"I went for my first walk in my super cool stroller cousin Jeanne Vranes gave me. My Mimi left today and my mom was a sad, but she was looking forward to our new family of 3 spending the weekend together. My mom was excited because she finally finished my nursery. I can't really use it yet, but I can't wait to sleep and play in there as soon as I am old enough."
"Today was basically a repeat of yesterday. I am on a 3 hour cycle. I was awake more than usual. This causes my mom to make funny faces at me, sing to me, and play with me. I just lay there and stare back at her. My dad put me to sleep tonight. He likes holding me close so I can stare at him. He doesn't want me to like my mom better, so he wants to make sure I don't forget him. He's so silly, yet kind of serious about that:)"

"I went to have my newborn pictures taken. Mom kept changing my outfit and I didn't understand why. I sat in my bouncer seat for a while awake and my mom played with me for a while."

I also started using a pacifier. I don't need it all day, but it sure soothes me when I am crying, getting my diaper changed, or changing clothes."

"Today I went to the pediatrician and gained 5 ounces. Mommy and Daddy sure get excited when I gain weight! I am enjoying my last few visits with Aunt Rachel Wingard before she goes back to college in Minnesota. I am glad it is the weekend because that means I get to snuggle with my mommy and daddy in the morning and sleep in:)"
"I'm actually awake and I made my first video for daddy to see me while at work. Today was my due date, but I arrived a little early. I am glad because I got to meet my family a few days earlier."
