This was a BUSY and interesting week for our family. We went to my mom's house for Mother's Day. My entire family ate lunch at my mom's house. That morning, Daniel got a stomach bug for 24 hours. The car ride home was NOT fun. Genevieve slept through the entire car ride, but mommy had to drive and daddy was miserable. It wasn't the Mother's Day I had in mind, but it was memorable. We did get some cute pictures before church and getting sick.
This week was REALLY busy at work with district testing and we were busy every night with something. Daniel's birthday was Wednesday and I got up and cooked him breakfast in a weekday, which never happens. I sent him a cookie delivery to work and we had his family over for pizza rolls and birthday cake.
On Friday, we went to a Rice baseball game to hear the Neff choir sing the national anthem. This weekend was more laid back. Genevieve came down with a cold. We just enjoyed being together as a family.
I take my principal certification exam tomorrow. I'm nervous, but REALLY excited to get it over with! There has been such a build up and I am ready for it to be done!
