"My parents are pretty much obsessed with the facial expressions I make. I am extremely expressive when I am awake and when I am asleep. They think I have some pretty awesome dreams or that I am about to wake up because I move my arms around and make faces sometimes while I am sleeping. However, I usually settle down and don't wake up. I am enjoying my time with my family, but I can't wait to see my Daddy tomorrow. I am beginning to stay awake more during the day and I have had a few nights when I've been asleep 7-8 hours. Mom thinks it is too good to be true. I just like to sleep right now. It's a lot of work to grow and be as beautiful as I am:)

"I am starting to make more pleasant expressions and I am smiling more. I don't look as serious as I have been. I am spitting up more than usual, so my mom keeps a bib on me all the time. I am sleeping for longer stretches at night, which makes my mom happy. I will try to keep it up:)

"There really is nothing more special than seeing my grandparents hold my daughter. My grandparents are my role models and I love them to pieces! This picture is of my Grandpop holding me on the left and then holding my daughter on the right. I told my Grandpop that I love my daughter so much. He then told me, "She can't tell you right now, but she loves you." I am blessed!"

"Today I traveled to La Vernia to spend the week with my family. It was hard to say goodbye to my dad. My mom got a little teary eyed, but he knows my mom and I need to spend time with them. I was fussy this evening, but I think I was tired and hungry. I didn't eat as much today and spit up more than usual. I think my tummy was upset. I finally settled down and fell asleep with my Mimi. When my mom came to check on me after her shower, she saw that my Mimi fell asleep also. She must have been as tired as I was because she fell asleep sitting up. I sure do love her:)"

"Today, my mommy went to Juliana's baby shower. She is coming to meet me around April 1st. My dad kept me while my mommy was gone. I slept most of the time. I haven't shown any side effects from my shots. I was up from 2-4 this morning, but I just laid there. My mommy and daddy are going on a date tonight while Grandma watches me. I'm sure I will have fun."

"Go Texan Day! My mom dressed me up in my Texan gear. I am a proud Texan:) I went to my pediatrician today. I weighed in at 10 pounds 5 ounces (62nd percentile) and I am 23 inches (96th percentile) long. The doctor said I am long and lean. I was able to get my 2 month shots a little early. I did okay. I cried hard enough to turn beet red and then I stopped crying right afterwards. I have been sleeping since then. I guess it wore me out."

"I tend to sleep with my hands by my head all the time. My mom likes to dress me up with bows and headbands, but I always pull the headband over my eyes and face. She has to watch me closely so I am okay."

"I am awake more during the day. My dad baby sat me while my my mom went to a meeting at work. He did a great job, but texted my mom wondering when she would be home. He's so funny."

"Today, my mom and dad dressed me in my new Nike's. These were the first thing my parents bought for me when they found out I was a girl. I made a trip to Sam's and spent time with my parents. I am continuing to grow. I have a pediatrician appointment on Friday. We will see if I am gaining weight."

"Today I went to Grandma's house and we had a Valentine's lunch. The table was pretty and I enjoyed being with my family. Aunt Ruthie was heading back to Minnesota. I sure will miss her and I was so glad she came to visit."

" I am one month old today. I celebrated by going to my first restaurant with my mom, dad, Aunt Ashley Bluhm Coburn, Uncle Jared Coburn, and cousin Madison. I was a perfect angel and slept through dinner. I had a great day."

"I came back home from La Vernia. I sure am going to miss my family, but I will get to see them in a couple weeks. I slept in the car the whole way home. My mom was nervous about the trip, but I did great. I couldn't wait to see my daddy!"

"I survived my first road trip and surprised my Mimi, Paw Paw, Great Grandpop, and Great Grandmom at church. I slept the whole way. I also got to meet my cousin, Cam. He is 2 days older than I am. I am lucky I have family that loves me. I am the 9th great grandchild on my mom's side, so I will always have cousins to play with."

"We tried tummy time today. It went okay. I cried for a little bit, but my parents were able to let me go for 5 minutes. I am excited about tomorrow because I have a big surprise that is happening!"

"My mommy finally got a picture with me not looking so confused. She is not sure if this is a real smile, but it is definitely a gummy smile. My daddy always said he wanted me to have my mommy's cheeks and gummy smile. It made my mommy happy to hear that because those were the things she was always self conscious about and she was glad my daddy liked them. Well, I definitely have her cheeks and will probably have her gummy smile:)"

My Uncle Michael Wingard and Papa D came over to watch the Super Bowl. My Grandma and Aunt Ruthie got me an outfit to cheer on the Ravens and they won! I was excited!"

"You don't want to mess with me because I am Daddy's Little Girl:) While on my daily walk with mommy and daddy, I heard them talking about how I have the same furrowed brow and forehead as my dad. It's fun for me to hear how I look like them. I also went on my first trip to the grocery store. I slept through the whole thing. My dad didn't want to put my seat on the shopping cart, so he pushed me in my stroller. He's so silly. I did get a lot of compliments about how cute/pretty I am. I need to go out in public more often:)

"I love Fridays because that means Daddy gets to spend more time with me. Mommy has been playing me the Pandora station: Rock-a-Bye Baby and we both like it. It takes rock songs and makes them sound like lullabies. My daddy, mommy, and I spent family time together last night. That's where this photo is from. We played, sang songs. and then I fell asleep."
